1. REPORT SUMMARY
Ali’s Farm Boutique Hotel has a firm commitment to fully comply with its responsibilities for sustainable tourism and to continuously improve its sustainability performance. By adopting an approach that is sensitive to sectoral changes, environmental, social, technological, economic and cultural risks, it regularly reviews its management system and updates it when needed. Reflecting the company’s commitment, “Sustainability Policies” aim to transform the facility’s core activities into sustainability principles and to strengthen this awareness in the corporate memory. In this direction, we aim to act together and strengthen the sustainability culture for employees, guests, business partners, suppliers and solution partners. Employee awareness, participation opportunities and development opportunities are considered as an integral part of the sustainability approach. In annual training plans and orientations, efforts are made to internalize the sustainability philosophy by focusing on issues such as social rights, supporting local employment, protection of natural life, cultural richness, ecological diversity, energy and water conservation. Human resources management aims to create a high performance culture and create value for all stakeholders by providing strategic support to all companies and departments in parallel with business strategies.
2. FACILITY INTRODUCTION AND FACILITY FEATURES
Our facility is located in Sivrice Bay Kıran üstü Mevkii No:43 Balabanlı Village / Ayvacık / Çanakkale. There are 25 guest rooms in our facility.
Our facility provides periodic service only during the summer months (June-August).

Ali’s Farm Boutique Hotel is committed to fulfill its commitments in the field of sustainable tourism and to establish an effective Sustainability Management System (SMS). This system, which covers management processes, is shaped within the framework of the policy determined to ensure that our hotel achieves its sustainability goals.
The basis of the management system is a detailed risk analysis in the areas of environment, natural disasters, society, culture, economy, quality, human rights, health and safety. This analysis aims to create an effective prevention strategy by identifying potential risks in advance. In addition, new risk topics can be included in the system according to evolving situations.
After identifying the risks, the crisis management policy and system are prepared to respond immediately and effectively to possible crisis situations. This approach encourages the hotel management to adopt a proactive attitude towards possible crises.
The sustainable management system includes setting policies that cover all employees, setting targets and evaluating whether these targets are achieved through regular monitoring. When the set targets are successfully achieved, new targets are set; when they are not, targets, policies and practices are reviewed and continuous improvement is focused on.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL PURCHASING POLICY
One of the main target criteria of procurement is to minimize waste and ensure procurement continuity. Goods acceptance practices to be implemented in our organization for this purpose are as follows:
In the procurement process, products that have recycling features, are depositable or do not create organic waste will be preferred.
Reusable, refillable or environmentally friendly products will be preferred over disposable products and consumables.
The purchase, use and recycling of single-use products will be meticulously monitored and managed in mandatory situations.
Staff will be trained on the reduction and recycling of disposable products.
Single-use items in rooms will be phased out and environmental impact reduction targets will be set and monitored.
Unnecessary packaging will be avoided in procurement, glass and metal products will be preferred and plastic waste will be reduced.
Frequently used materials will be procured in larger sized packages instead of small sized packages, minimizing the amount of plastic waste.
Recyclable and ecologically labeled products will be preferred so that products do not harm the environment.
Environmentally certified products and supplies will be used for products such as wood, paper and fish.
